International Travel Certificate
Dr. Moniello carries National Accreditation to issue International Health Certificates for your companion pets. Since this is a somewhat cumbersome process, there are specific steps you’ll need to follow prior to visiting our office.
- Visit www.aphis.gov to research the specific requirements of the country you plan on visiting.
- Contact the Consulate of the country you plan on visiting to confirm these requirements.
- Contact your airline to determine any additional terms of travel they may require.
- You will need to bring all documentation to our office for review prior to your scheduled appointment with Dr. Moniello. If your pet is new to our practice, we will need copies of all vaccinations and medical testing from your current Veterinarian as well.
Please note that each foreign country has specific requirements, including vaccinations, and the number of days prior to travel when they can be administered. To ensure that you are in compliance, and obtain your International Health Certificate in time for your scheduled departure, we urge you to call our office to start this process well before your travel date.
