International Health Certificates

Many pet owners have their pets accompany them on their travels. If you are bringing your pet along on a trip abroad and require an International Health Certificate, and you are a resident of New Jersey, Dr. Moniello can help you to obtain it.

Dr. Moniello is accredited by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) to provide health certificates for international travel.

Although medications, vaccines or other additional services may be needed, one office visit and a doctor consult are usually all that are necessary.

A deposit is required prior to the scheduling of your phone consultation and office visit.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is the agency in charge of health certification. You may visit their site at www.aphis.usda.gov to learn the requirements of your country of destination.

You may also contact the consulate of the country you will be visiting in order to learn and confirm your requirements.

And, contact the airline on which you will be flying to learn their specific requirements.
